GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To whom do the GTC apply?

The General Terms and Conditions apply primarily to the individual entrepreneur Berecz Ádám Raffael (8496 Kispirit, Arany János utca 4.), hereinafter: Freeyourselfescape, as a service provider, and secondly to all persons who use the services of Freeyourselfescape (players).

The possibility of deviating from the General Terms and Conditions

Freeyourselfescape undertakes to provide services under conditions different from those of these GTC only on the basis of a separate written agreement. If the General Terms and Conditions and the separate written agreement differ, the content of the latter shall prevail. In matters not regulated in a separate written agreement, these General Terms and Conditions shall govern.

Subject of GTC

The subject of these GTC are the services provided by Freeyourselfescape, the organization of escape room games, and the activities related to the service, with particular regard to the following:

I. Booking:

Game reservations can be made at www. On the Freeyourselfescape.com website, by phone, or in person at the game room location. When making a reservation, these GTC are accepted.

When making a reservation, it is mandatory to provide real personal data.
After a successful booking, we will send a confirmation by e-mail.
The reservation ID can be requested on site.
All reservations are final, so there is no possibility to refund the advance payment. If at least 24 hours are still available between the start time of the game and the time of cancellation, the reservation can be reorganized for another time by keeping the deposit.
We only accept cancellations or rescheduling 24 hours before the selected date.
In the event of a 5-minute delay, the clock will start in the game.
Freeyourselfescape reserves the right to close the games due to maintenance or changes. You can cancel the booked appointments after prior notification or suggest an exchange.

II. Payment:

The game is priced at www. It is located on the website freeyourselfescape.com.
Payment can be made via the website by bank card or on site with cash and bank card.
The deposit cannot be refunded in case of no-show, cancellation or change of date within 24 hours.
A maximum of one discount can be applied per game. Discounts cannot be combined.

III. Participation in the game:

The games are designed for teams of 2-6 people. Only one team participates in the game, in case of small numbers, other teams will not join. A team cannot have more than six people.
The game lasts a maximum of 60 or 120 minutes depending on the selected difficulty level.
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Bags and valuables can be stored inside the room.
The environment and use of the escape rooms are different from the usual ordinary rooms, therefore, in order to use them as intended, all players must attend a short training before the game, and cooperate closely with the staff of Freeyourselfescape.
The escape room game is a simulation game in closed rooms, which can mean a high degree of mental stress and sometimes physical strain. Physical activity includes especially, but not exclusively, activities such as standing, bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting. The room may occasionally have poor visibility or different lighting effects.
In view of the above, participation in escape games entails various dangers and risks. Players may suffer psychological or emotional damage, and in extreme situations, physical health may also be endangered or damaged. The escape room is not particularly recommended for: heart patients, epileptics, panic patients, claustrophobics, and people suffering from other phobic diseases.
Everyone uses the games of Freeyourselfescape at their own risk, based on a voluntary decision.
The game can be used independently by adults who are able to act. Parental supervision is required for minors.
Persons who are under the influence of alcohol, medication, drugs or other mind-altering substances, or who behave inappropriately, may be excluded from the game.
Smoking is prohibited in the entire area of the game rooms and the condominium that serves as the venue.
Evaluation at the end of the service is part of the game, so we can also send an e-mail message asking for an evaluation after the game.
Persons participating in Freeyourselfescape's games must:

to use the furnishings as intended, they may not climb on them, they may not exert sudden force on them (e.g. punches, kicks), they are obliged to strive to preserve their condition,
to refrain from entering an area closed to visitors,
report immediately to Freeyourselfescape staff if there is a dangerous situation in the room or if a damaged device / equipment is detected,
to notify Freeyourselfescape staff immediately if they notice signs of illness in themselves or in anyone around them,
to cooperate with the people in the room,
to fully comply with the instructions of Freeyourselfescape employees.

All Freeyourselfescape games are copyrighted works and as such are automatically copyrighted.

Photo, video or audio recording is strictly prohibited in the Freeyourselfescape game.

The players may not make the details of the game public, may not bring it to the attention of third parties, they are obliged to keep it as a trade secret of Freeyourselfescape even after the end of the game.

A. Liability

The player is obliged to comply with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and if he suffers an injury, accident or other damage as a result of violating them, Freeyourselfescape is not obliged to compensate him.

Otherwise, the liability of Freeyourselfescape - with the exception of statutory exceptions - may under no circumstances exceed the lower of HUF 100,000 or the amount of the actual damage. The actual damage does not include the following: lost profit, indirect (consequential) damage or loss, and damage or loss arising from a claim by a third party.

Freeyourselfescape informs the players that it has liability insurance, therefore the player is obliged to cooperate with the staff of Freeyourselfescape in relation to the enforcement of any claims, especially in relation to the recording of the report and the provision of any evidence.

Freeyourselfescape informs the players that if the injury or other damage caused to the player can be attributed to another player, Freeyourselfescape is not responsible for the behavior of the person causing the damage.

If the player violates the provisions of these GTC, he is liable for the damages he causes according to the rules of liability for damages caused by breach of contract, so in particular, but not exclusively:

• the player is obliged to compensate for damages caused to the rooms or objects resulting from improper use of the room or the equipment and tools in it.

• the player who violates copyright may be removed from the room and proceedings may be initiated against him.

The player undertakes to indemnify and release Freeyourselfescape from any claims, demands, responsibilities, costs, damages or expenses asserted by third parties, including legal costs, which arise due to the fact that the player does not comply with these GTC violates its provisions, so specifically, but not exclusively, in the following cases.

• providing incorrect, incomplete or false personal data, misusing the personal data of other data subjects,

• damage caused to persons staying in the room during the game,

• damage caused to property located in the game rooms.

VI. Data protection

Freeyourselfescape informs the players that the escape rooms are monitored by cameras, and detailed information about them is available to anyone on site.

VII. Others

In matters not regulated by the General Terms and Conditions, Hungarian legislation is the governing law. Hungarian courts have jurisdiction to resolve legal disputes arising in connection with these General Terms and Conditions.
